Digital Audio Post, Inc., located on Nashville’s famed Music Row, was founded in 1995 and has developed into one of the most respected and busiest audio postproduction houses in the Southeast.

As an audio post production facility, projects span the professional audio spectrum and include television shows, live concert supervision and remix, live concert CD/DVD/5.1, commercials, ADR/looping, theatrical audio editorial, and audio forensics.

DAP began by setting up residence in the noted Emerald Studios building. Continued business expansion necessitated a move to new facilities constructed for DAP in the famed Masterfonics Building in October 1999.

In July 2005, as a result of continued growth and development, Digital Audio Post, Inc. moved to larger facilites at 1217 16th Ave. S. in Nashville. The move gave DAP the opportunity to add a full-sized studio area to complement the main mix room, and it provided space for a second, more living-room type environment with a second mix room.

In December 2006 we acquired the entire building and in January 2007 we added Studio 3.

Our newest studio, Studio 4, opened in June 2007 as a music mix room and features Digidesign's flagship ICON control surface.

Our studio building has a long and colorful history since its construction in 1985. Formerly known as Sixteenth Avenue Sound, Studio 1 has been the site of numerous hit recording with artists of all genres ranging from Steve Winwood to Dolly Parton. Studio 3 was first constructed in the early 1980s as a demo studio for Sony Music.
